There's nothing like a business that's super honest, super quick, reasonably priced, and knows exactly what they're talking about. Pretty rare these days. We woke up this morning to no hot water in the house. After another company came by and told me I needed a water heater replacement ($2,600), I called Excalibur for a second opinion. Paul answered, asked me for pics, and right away told me he knows this kind of problem well and a $400 repair will do the trick, buying me several more years with the existing water heater. Even though Excalibur was booked up the whole day, Paul said he could squeeze in this repair job quickly. Within an hour he was at my house with the part. Quickly fixed it up, explained everything in detail to me, and now we have hot water again. Their service and competence earned my trust and I'll definitely be back to them when it actually is time to buy a new water heater.

I had a water heater replaced by Baron back in 2008. Picked him because he was a straight shooter, willing to give me a quote over the phone. He was on time, did impeccable work, and charged me exactly what he said he would. The water heater is still going strong today.
